One can use the UAE’s Ministry of Interior (MOI) website to apply for a Clearance Certificate from authorities. You can also apply for it through the MOI’s app, available for both Android and iOS users.
An individual can also pick up the certificate in person at one of MOI’s service centers. You can find these centers in all emirates, and you can search for one near you on the official website.
One can also obtain a Clear Criminal Record Certificate through MOI’s online services or the service center.
The service is available in Dubai through the Dubai Police website or the Dubai Police smart app, which are available on iTunes and Google Play. Also, you can get it from the Dubai Police Department’s offices.
Documents required for the police clearance certificate in UAE
- Valid Emirates ID card
- Letter from the beneficiary stating that no criminal charges are pending against the individual
- Recent passport-size photograph of the individual
